Scout counts play sessions, races and checkpoints to improve the game. No names, controls or IP addresses enter these counts. Random session IDs stay in memory and expire server-side after about a day; aggregate counts remain. Reloading starts a new session. Turn off to stop future reports. Normal web-server access logs are separate.

Push forward to dip. Pull back to climb. Move sideways to carve. Release to glide level. Pull back to recover a breach.

Desktop: arrow keys or WASD steer · 1 2 3 or Q/E pick LO/MED/HI · hold Space for ACTION (swim, climb aboard, noodle) · C switches camera · R respawns in Cruise · Escape pauses.
VR: lean (or push the right stick) to ride · squeeze the right trigger for throttle, release to coast to a stop · swing the noodle tip into an opponent to attack · left trigger clears a fish jam · after a fall hold either trigger to swim and climb aboard · swing the real noodle to attack · left Y/X shift gears · left stick looks around the board · left stick click shows the debug panel · A re-centres · B restarts. A headset solo race is throttle practice, kept off records and the leaderboard.
